Students are asked to accumulate some words and phrases about emotions. Stage 1 warm up Teacher here can present some pictures from the book and ask students to brainstorm as many adjectives as possible to describe the person’s mood. Stage 2 word –building Learn the words about emotions in exercise 1 by grouping them together and identifying whether they are weak or strong. Stage 3 word-strengthening Give students several situations from exercise 3 and ask them to put themselves in the shoes of the speaker and describe their feelings about each situation. Here teachers can have a competition as groups. Any group who has used the most adjectives from exercise 1 can get some prizes.
