Unit11 Our family tree
一、Teaching aims:
1、通过学习, 掌握本单元家庭成员名称,及一般正在进行时态;
2、学会用英语介绍自己的家庭成员的名称;
3. 继续学习音标,并进行相应的训练。
二、Key point and difficult point:
Key point: father,mother, grandpa, grandma, son, brother, sister, daughter, read a newspaper, read a book, watch TV, drink tea, water the flowers
Difficult point:
What is she doing?
She is watering the flowers.
I have a happy family.

四、Teaching process:
Period 1.
Warm up
a). Greet to everyone. Say hello to everyone.
b). Do actions
“Ok, all of you stand up and follow me please”
Students stand up and do the actions follow the teacher.
Head to head ** shoulder to shoulder** foot to foot* toes to toes
c) sing all we have learnt song.
Ask them whether they sing the song to their parents.
And sing the song together
Review the words.
busy忙碌的, we我们, give给, take拿(四上Uint6), begin开始(四上Uint9), get变成(四上Uint9), fun有趣儿的, but但是, count数一数,
四年级上: fair公平的,watch观察,Chinese中国人 , dumpling饺子, pocket money压岁钱, Beijing Opera京剧
Ask students what they have learnt last week and let say them out. If they know, they should say “let me try”
After they say these words, the teacher puts all the cards on the blackboard and then practices the words.
First read after the teacher.
Second practice the words using “loudly and lowly” (if teacher reads them loudly, the students must be low. If the teacher reads lowly, the students must be loud.)
Third ask the students to read them one by one.
Fourth the students read them together.
Fifth separate the students into two groups. And read the words. Who read better will get high points.
Last read after the teacher.
4. Dictation
Dictate the words they have learnt.
Period 2
1. Learn the new words: First write the word on the blackboard.
Ask them to look at the ways to write the words.
Read after the teacher.
Then let them to write them on their notebook.
Learn new words.
