In the same time, more and more problems of mental health about pupils,middle sch001 and high school students are reported by many medias, our party and country pay great attent ion to these problems. According to the documents of the Party Central CoII]IIIlittee, a11 1evels governments try their best to find s01utions, and get some effects. As we known, in psychotherapy or in practice, the adjustment of feel ing i s an important factor to remoVe the mental barri er of those sufferer. Karl Marx had sai d:” A fine state of mind is better than ten good medicines to release physi0109ical exhaustion and pain.” And music has unique superiority in adjusting emotion. So that, music education is an effective way to prevent, treat and even cure mental problems of pupi ls, middle sch001 and high sch001 students because of i t s nature character. In fact. one of the foundation of that music education can cure mental problems comes from the music therapy. But music education is different from music therapy in its nature and object. It is few to study the mental health of pupils,middle sch001 and high school students on the basis of music education, and even fewer to studv the relation of music education and mental health of pupils,middle school and high school students on the basis of their specific mental problems. This paper try to build a systematic theory to elaborate and analyze the relation of music education and mental health of pupi 1s,middle school and high school students.And on the basis of the theory to give some practical opinions and proposals.
