Teaching important and difficult points: 1. How to improve the students’ writing skills; 2. How to understand the cultural differences. Teaching methods: Practice and writing Teaching procedures: Step 1: Lead- in 1. Ask students some questions about cultural differences. Show some pictures 2. Ask students to read a friend’s diary again and work in pairs to find out the strange actions, and fill in the chart. of each visitor.
