* * This teacher led activity aims to teach children the correct past tense of ‘there was…/there were…..’ for singular and plural. Some slides revise the present tense (there is / there are….). The next slide is an answer sheet for each child to complete during the IT presentation, and should be printed, and distributed to the children before you start. Children should write in their choice of sentence on the answer sheet after each slide is shown. Discussion of their reasons for their choice should take place with the teacher when they receive correct feedback on the screen.
