Teaching Procedures:
Step 1 warming up
T: Good morning, boys and girls. Nice to meet you. Let me ask you some questions about you, OK? Let students answer these questions:
Have you got a big family or a small family?
Have you got any brothers or sisters?
What’s your favourite food/drink/fruit?
Ss: list the food they have learnt.
设计意图:
复习学过的have got句型和表示食物的单词,从学生已知内容入手,利用学生已有的认知水平引入新课,主要为下一步教学单词及物品归类做准备工作。
Step 2 Food and drink
1. Show the Ss some pictures to learn the new words
2. Label the food in the pictures with these words “fruit” “meat” “vegetables” “drink”. Let students talk about it in groups of four.
3. Check the answers with Ss.
设计意图:
在学生预习的基础上呈现新单词,引导学生通过个人思考或小组讨论来解决问题,以便巩固新学的知识,在教学中注重了学生的个体差异。
Step 3 Listen and find the food
Read the words together first .
The teacher says, I’ll tell you something about Betty. Betty is going to have a big family lunch tomorrow. Let’s listen to the tape and find what they have got and what they haven’t got. Let the Ss complete Ex.1.
Exercise1
Listen and find the food and drink they have got (√)and they haven’t got.(ⅹ)
Call back the answers from the whole class, have one student answer a question. For example, Have they got any oranges? (Yes, they have.)
Pair the class to ask and answer the questions about what they have /haven’t got. Complete Ex.2.
Exercise2
Pairwork:
