This specification supplements the specification sheets of fan or blowers and drivers on which the operating condition and special requirements are listed in detail. Whenever the data included on the specification sheets conflicts with the provision of this general specification, the former shall govern. Compliance by the fan or blower manufacturer with the provisions of this specification does not relieve him of the responsibility of furnishing fans or blowers, their drivers and auxiliaries which are properly designed and mechanically suited to meet operating guarantees at the specified service conditions. SCOPE OF SUPPLY Air fans or blowers shall be furnished suitable for outdoor installation. Each set shall include, but not limited to the following: Two sets of Fan (Blower) are installed in parallel to operate in turn outside the chamber of the storage tank. They periodically or emergently offer the sufficient air to replace the combustible gas possibly occurred inside the chamber. Two fans or blowers with motor drivers. Special tools for installation and maintenance (if required). GENERAL REQUIREMENTS The equipment furnished shall be suitable for outdoor service in chemical plant environment. All equipment shall be designed for a continuous twenty-four hours per day operating cycle. General ruggedness to insure uninterrupted service is required throughout. Vendor shall submit drawings and documents as specified herein in the proposal after receipt of purchase order. Vendor’s quotation shall include the coats of submission of drawings, data and documents as specified herein. All vendor drawings, documents, equipment nameplate information
