Educational objectives At the end of the class: (1) students are able to aware of some knowledge of word-building. (2) students are able to talk about job and their dream with each other. (3) students are able to realize that every occupation is equal. Personal objectives At the end of the class, I’m able to have a general grasp of how to guide students to learn English and how to attract students’ attention on English. I’m able to have a better understand about how to design a lesson plan. New Words: job, profession, work, writer, actor/actress, runner, teacher, peasant, worker, servant, pilot, dancer, singer, driver, businessman/businesswoman, leader, officer, manager, waiter, waitress, scientist, inventor, nurse, doctor, cook, shop assistant, bank clerk, compere, reporter … New Structure: What do you do? / What dose he/she do? What’s your/his/her job? Where do you work? / Where dose he/she work? I am a …/ He / She is a … My / his/ her job is … I work / He/ She works in/at … Focal points: New words about occupation. Some knowledge about word-building. New sentence structures about occupation. Difficult points: Students can use the new words and sentence structures to talk about occupation and their dreams accurately and fluently.
