As the distillation column will be stalled in Dalian, the environment conditions of Dalian are chosen and according to the working process, some of the details are changed to fit the actual production. Computer-aided design (CAD) is used as the basic system to the design. In this work, I calculated all the parameters of the column, including the thickness, mass, wind bending moment, seismic bending moment, the hydrostatic pressure test and installation. The script has drawn in full proportion with the use of Auto-CAD. All the calculation is based on the national standards and the formulas. Though the check, all the sections of the design are satisfying the requirement.
