He joined the San Antonio Spurs, and started his incredible basketball career in 1997. Tim played with the San Antonio Spurs for his entire career and is regarded as “the big fundamental” of the Spurs, and the city of San Antonio. The big fundamental is considered as the greatest power forward in history. He has won five championships with many honorable achievements such as, 1998 rookie of the year, two times most valuable player, and 15 times All-star player. However, as a superstar player, Tim Duncan did not like the spotlight.
