Carbon trading mechanism (CDM mechanism) is under the framework of the Kyoto Protocol to achieve low-carbon process of an effective mechanism for sustainable development, through which the carbon dioxide emissions is as a commodity to solve the represented carbon dioxide as a greenhouse gas reduction mechanism. The Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is national determination wind electricity Three Gorges Base, the country windproof controls the sands, the afforestation project key area, the country important thermoelectricity generation energy base. Through the development of wind power, forest carbon sinks and installing carbon capture devices in the thermal power plant, the paper mainly analyzes the potential of carbon trading market in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Through the analysis of three aspects, demonstrated the potential of the carbon trading market in Inner Mongolia.
