B Grandma Moses, she is the one of American folk artist and her full name is Anna Mary Robertson. Anna took up painting at age 76, and her schooling was limited, never had an art lesson. She worked hard all the time she was growing up. She could do many things and enjoyed doing needlework such as sewing and embroidering. With needle and thread she would make pictures on the fabric. When she was in her late seventies(76) she decided to take up painting which was easier on her hands than needle work. Her first painting was made using housepaint. Her art is classified as folk art which is self-t
