美韩自由贸易协定 投稿：吕喺喻 CHAPTER EIGHTEEN INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS ARTICLE 18.1: GENERAL PROVISIONS 1. Each Party shall, at a minimum, give effect to this Chapter. International Agreements 2. Further to Article 1.2 (Relation to Other Agreements), the Parties affirm their existing rights and obligations with respect to each other under the TRIPS Agreement. 3. Each Party shall ratify or accede to the following agreements by the date this Agreement enters into force: (a) the Patent Cooperation Treaty (1970), as amended in 1979; (b) the Paris Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property (1967) (the Paris Convention); (c) the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works (1971) (the Berne Convention); (d) the Convention Relating to the Distribution of Programme-Carrying Signals Transmitted by Satellite (1974); (e) the Protocol Relating to the Madrid Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Marks (1989); (f) the Budapest Treaty on the International Recognition of the Deposit of Microorganisms for the Purposes of Patent Procedure (1977), as amended in 1980; (g) the International Convention for the Protection of New Varieties of Plants (1991); (h) the Trademark Law Treaty (1994);1 (i) the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Copyright Treaty (1996); and (j) the WIPO Performances and Phonograms Treaty (1996). 1 A Party may satisfy the obligation in Article 18.1.3(h) by ratifying or acceding to the Singapore Treaty on the Law of Trademarks (2006), provided that treaty has entered into force. 4. Each Party shall make all reasonable efforts to ratify or accede to the following agreements: (a) the Patent Law Treaty (2000); (b) the Hague Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Industrial Designs (1999); and (c) the Singapore Treaty on the Law of Trademarks (2006).
