2. Teaching aims:
1) Knowledge aims: a) Grasp the new words: skip; playtime; sad; no one; me; hide; seek; hurry up;
b ) Grasp the sentence structure:
Daming and Sam are playing hide-and-seek.
Daming is hiding and Sam is seeking.
2) Ability aims: Talk about activities taking place now..
3) Emotion aims: Let pupil know---If we share our happy with others,we can get more happy.

Phrases: play hide-and-seek; play clapping games
Sentences:
Daming and Sam are playing hide-and-seek.
Daming is hiding and Sam is seeking.

Step1 warm up:
Sing the song I’m listening to music. and do the actions. ( 旨在活跃课堂气氛,让歌曲把孩子带进英语课堂)
Guessing game:
T: swimming
Ss: I’m swimming.
(复习旧知,为学习新知识做好铺垫。)
Step2 Lead in:
Show the picture “It’s playtime.” Then talking about “what are they doing?”
Game: Listen,repeat and do the action:
T:swimming Ss: I am swimming.
(旨在复习已学过的动词“ing”形式,为本节课学习做好铺垫。通过游戏,引出我们都很快乐,然后转折“But Fangfang isn’t happy. Fangfang is sad. 为什么Fangfang 不高兴呢?让生带着问题进入课文学习。)
Step3 Presentation:
Listen and answer the question:
Fangfang is sad. Why?
No one is playing with me.
What’s Lingling doing?
Lingling is skipping. (看图说句子。)
2) ---What are Daming and Sam doing?
--- They are playing hide-and-seek.
Daming is hiding. Sam is seeking.
(left hand--- hide; right hand--- seek, two hands--- hide and seek;
练习“hide”和 “seek”的发音)
T: Who’s hiding?
Ss: Daming is hiding.
T: Who’s seeking?
Ss: Sam is seeking.
Chant: hide, hiding, Daming is hiding;
Seek, seeking, Sam is seeking.
Daming and Sam are playing hide-and-seek.
(通过chant来练习四个词:hide, hiding, seek, seeking)
