Its name, Mei long, means dragon sleep soundly.The type fossil is a young juvenile（少年）, complete and exceptionally well preserved in three-dimensional（三维） detail, with the head nestled(依偎） beneath one of the forelimbs, similar to the roosting（栖息） position of modern birds.The chemistry of the matrix stone（石头基岩） and the resting pose indicate the living animal was probably buried instantly in volcanic ash.
