Revise some greetings.
Talk about their holiday each other in English.
Step 2: presentation
Teach some new words with actions (or picture): spent / was /visit /coconut / of course
Let the students talk about their holiday. (What were they doing during the holiday? how do they feel their holiday? …..)
Show the picture to the student, and ask them to watch carefully, accruing it, talk about the people on the picture how to have their holiday? Also his feeling?
Listen to the tape, and then ask them to repeat it.
Pay attention to the tense about past tense.
Step 3: practice
Listen to the tape several times, and then ask them to repeat it.
Ask someone to say it out in the front of the blackboard.
Ask them to act it out.
Step 4: assessment
Do some exercises of workbook.
Step 5: additional activities
Make a survery about their holiday.
Explain the past tense in Chinese.
