And the Natural History room as well. 1. ● close v. 关闭 Close the door, please. ● close adj. 接近的,亲密的 my close friend ● closed adj. 关闭的 The door is closed. ● open v. 打开 Open the door, please. ● open adj. 打开的 The door is open. 2. as well/ as well as/ also/ too/ either ● as well “也,又”,位于句尾,但不用逗号隔开 e.g. She knows English as well.=She knows English, too. ● too “也,又”用于肯定句,位于句尾,用逗号隔开 ● either “也,又”用于否定句,位于句尾。 e.g. She doesn’t know English, either. ● as well as “和” e.g. There are also rooms on transport, the environment and space technology, as well as maths, physics and chemistry.
