Weekend activities Talk about recent past events. 1.Simple past of regular and irregular verbs; 2.What questions; 3.How was your weekend? 二、考点透视 （一）【考纲指要】 1．掌握并运用由what / how引导的疑问句及其答语。 2．能够掌握规则和不规则动词过去式的构成，掌握一般过去时态的构成及运用。 3．能恰当地运用情态动词would。 4．能用形容词来描述人物的外表，能提供食品；用一般过去式谈论过去发生的事情。 （二）【命题落点】 1．What does he look like？他看上去什么样子？ look like 意思是“看起来像”，后面可接名词、代词等作宾语。如：The girl looks like her mother.这个女孩看起来像她的妈妈。 2．Wang Lin is very popular. 王林很受大家所喜爱。 popular 是形容词，表示“为大众所喜爱的，流行的，走红的，有名望的，通俗的，大众的”等意思。如：popular songs / music 流行歌曲 / 音乐；in popular language 用普通话。 be popular with sb.意为“受某人欢迎”，如：Yao Ming is very popular with young people.姚明很受年轻人的欢迎。 3．He has curly brown hair and is medium build.他有棕色卷发，中等身材。 此句是用来描述人的外形时的常用语，其句中的动词has，原形是have，表示“有，具有”。 medium为形容词，指“中等的”。如：He is a man of medium size.他中等身材。 4．Do you remember Johnny Dean，the pop singer with funny glasses and long curly hair？你还记得约翰尼.迪恩，戴着滑稽眼镜，留着长长卷发的那位摇滚歌星吗？ 此句中the rock singer作Johnny Dean的同位语，起补充说明的作用。如：Do you remember my English teacher，a medium height man？你记得我的英语老师吗，一个中等个子的男人？ with 在此句中意为“带着”，是介词。如：Do you know the boy with a camera？你认识那个拿照相机的男孩吗？ 5．I don’t think he’s so great, …But my mom does. 我认为他不怎么样,……但我妈妈喜欢他。 I don’t think…注意此句是否定转移, think 引导的句子如果表示否定意义, 否定要转移到think前。如：I don’t think you are right. 我认为你不对。 But my mom does.此句中does代替 thinks he’s so great,这是一种避免重复的用法。在英文中，常常用do，does 或did代替上文的动词短语。如：I don’t have long hair, but my sister does. 我没有长发，但我妹妹有。 6．What kind of noodles would you like？你想要哪种面条？ 我们以前学到的“kind of”是表示“有点；稍微”，但此句中的kind是名词，意为“种类”，常见搭配：a kind of …（一种……），all kinds of …（各种各样的……），what kind of…（哪一种
