Based on Kennedy assassination, this novel mainly deals with the isolation and dissimilation feelings for the American citizens. As a representative postmodern novel, Libra’s stylistic features and narrative strategies are both quite typical. This essay analyzes some postmodernist techniques used by Don DeLillo in Libra. These narrative techniques refer to the change of time and space, the change of vision, repetition, and collage, which rein-force the theme of the novel and achieve a strong artistic effect.
