PA考试准备——Evan讲座（三）临考前准备：Evan推荐：重点看自己写的作业和自己做的research，因为自己用心做的这些，遗忘率是最低的，最容易记的，这些自己写过的，万一考试考了，不能忘记，所以别浪费了以前的心血，再复习一下。另外总结自己的写作风格，该背要背，这样考试能写得快点。然后重点看几个比较经典的case，背背推荐答案的套话。拿出半天写2个小case，1个大case，限时3个小时。因为都看过，所以不会没有头绪，但是一定要坚持写3个小时，不停的写，写到手抽筋了还能写下去，并且写的字还能看清，那么就基本成功了。最后就是，好好吃饭，好好睡觉，调节自己的压力，准备考试吧。Financial Accounting题外话。以前有人问，FA的competency怎么算，千万不要纠结这个，FA的考点，并不是说1是assets, 2是liability,而是，“记账能力”“分析能力”“抉择能力”等等，所以所有的PA的考点，不要管考点，写出自己写的就好了。5、FA05：Determine organization structure, framework and users.（1）structure是指public, private, public sector, NPO, （2）framework是用哪套standards, （3）users是说影响谁 shareholders, government (CRA), regulation bodies...等等举例来说，1是NPO, 我们要知道两点：a) Record donation and endowment. b) Deferral method vs.restricted fund2是 acquisition in a foreign country,重点要放在consolidation, IFRS, translation（PA1特别喜欢考这个类型的题目）.对于translation，要知道2个method名字，functional currency是什么，外加foreign exchange gain/loss 记录哪里。2个method：Foreign currency transaction approach：要用CAD（母公司在加拿大）， FX-NISelf-sustaining foreign operations：要用本地的，比如说USD（美国），FX-OCI3关于用什么rate，spot or average，各自回去查阅FA4的Module 8.6、FA06：Quality of accounting information (timely, reliable and relevant)这些是我们的目的，重点在于是否可以提高这些。也就是说，我们要考虑1) Design a financial system to process transactions, 2) Quality control system to ensure accuracy, 3) internal controls (比如说AR, AP)7、FA07：Develops policies and procedures for documenting and maintaining supporting information for transactions and events (record retention policy, preservation of the audit trail)FA07总体的意思是后续记录，也就是review flow of transactions and procedures, data backups, documentations等。不过提示一下，要保存7年纪录。8、FA08：Prepares financial statements and related disclosures appropriate for external users and in compliance with regulatory standards (interim financial statements, pro forma statements, environmental impact, long-range forecasts, management discussion and analysis [MDA])总体意思是：1）满足regulatory filing requirement, 2) They are understandable例子：a) Annual interim FS (ASPE/IFRS), b) Environment filing
