The land use planning environmental impact assessment in Long Nan City Abstract Starting from the improvement of the Holistic Land Use Planning in Long Nan City, Gansu Province, in this paper the objectives of land use planning are researched, and the present situation of land use in Long Nan City is analyzed. An index system is developed for the environmental impact assessment according to the environmental impact identification and the present situation in Long Nan City. The index system is divided into three hierarchies, i.e. the chief target hierarchy A, standard hierarchy B and indicator hierarchy C. There are 20 assessment factors in the indicator hierarchy. In the light of which, it is attempted to calculate the weights of the indexes and provide a method for the further research work of environmental impact assessment. The result shows that there is a positive effect of the Holistic Land Use Planning on the holistic ecological environment in Long Nan City, which is helpful for the holistic objectives of sustainable land use and environmental protection in Long Nan City. Keywords—land use planning; environmental impact assessment; Environmental impact identification; Long Nan City Land use planning is of certain areas on the future trend of land use planning and scheduling[1], whether or not reasonable compilation is related to the sustainable utilization of the land use, and the land use planning environmental impact assessment is to analyse, predict and evaluate the potential effects on the environment after implementation of land use planning. The paper put forward the best program and make adjustment from the angle of ecological environment, meanwhile put forward measures to prevent or alleviate the adverse effects on the environment, and track monitoring method and system[2-3], which belong to a kind of strategic environmental impact assessment.
