It is a love story between a prostitute and a nobleman. Huo Nv is a short story of Strange Tales from a Lonely Studio written by Pu Songling, a great writer in Qing Dynasty. It is a story of Huo Nv and her love affair with four men. Li Wa and Huo Nv are the brilliant images created by writers of different dynasties in ancient China. Their images have separately been analyzed thoroughly, but have seldom been contrasted together. In fact, there are similarities between Li Wa and Huo Nv, and in the view of the ideal woman of men of letters, they can reveal the identify aspects and the evolution trend of female ideal of feudal literati.
