Describing today’s actibity. 1.Listen to the daily report and take note ,then answer the question:
What was his activity in the morning ?
What is his activity now?
1.Inivte one students on duty to describe his today’s activity like:
This morning...
Now…
This afternoon. 1.Lead them to think about the tense.

StepⅡ:Grammar learning.
① The –ing form of different words.
② The different forms of present continuous tense.
③Observation and Discussion
2. ① Discuss in pairs to write down the rules of –ing forms and different sentences forms.
②Check them with the answer and give remarks to yourself.
3.①Describe the students’ activity using this tense.
②Find the mistakes according to the rules and correct them. Pay attention to the words what can be used in this tense.
2. ①Present different kinds of forms and sentences forms of the tense to ask them to observe and summarize.
② Present the complete rules for them to check.
3.Prepare a sheet.
① Invite a student to mime and ask them to answer :what is he doing ?
③Present some mistaken sentences to tell them some words can’t be used in this tense. 2. cultivate their ability to self-study by observation.
3.Help them to master the details of this grammar.
