Patient positioning 1.) The patient is placed in supine position on the operating room table. (There is an inflatable transfer device placed on the stretcher in the holding area) 2.) The arms are extended laterally on arm boards and secured in place. 3.) Following intubation, a foley is placed and draped beneath the left leg. 4.)
