Chinese Myths and Legends the Production of Reality 　　Abstract. Chinese myths and legends， parts of Chinese literature derived from ancient people’s working. The creation of myths is on the basis of real life. The paper is to analyze the close relationship between Chinese myths and ancient people’s life ，and how the myths reflect the reality. 　　Key words： myths； labor； reality； connection 　　Chinese myths， one part of Chinese literature are not written by a certain author， and they are the production of labors and very ancient people’s wisdom. Both English sagas and Chinese myths and legends reflect the life and thoughts of ancient people at that time. Some myths show that ancient people have confidence to defeat natural disasters. As XieXuan-jun， a famous scholar says， “The behavior and myths of primitive society are not really personal things but are collective consciousness performances.” [1] 　　1. Chinese Myths Originating from Working 　　Literature did not born with human beings. It originates from labors， and its production can be traced the most primitive stage of human being’s life. During the course of working， primitive people send out the cry of labors owing to exerting their muscles and tools. This kind of sound has certain height and pause. In a certain time， it has regular pattern. In this way， rhyme came into being. From many documents ， it can be proved fully that literature derived from labors. In real life， sailors sculling and towing lines， workers ramming and dockers carrying， they sing songs with harmonious tones and rhymes. Obviously， we see that literature connects with labor closely， moreover the rhyme emerged under the special conditions of labor. Therefore， the conclusion that literature originated from labor is correct. Although the voice produced by primitive people is just a sound without any words actually this natural healthy rhyme scheme is the originality of poems and also the beginning of literature creation. 　　Our ancestors
