Research of the Value of the Leisure Sport from a Perspective of the Humanistic Sport 　　Abstract. according to the analysis of the hierarchy of needs, the leisure sport is the natural outcome of a highly developed society as people are bound to pursue higher demand once their material needs are met. Therefore, the leisure index has become one of yardsticks of the society development degree. Meanwhile, wide attention has been paid to the leisure sport by the public and professionals. In this thesis, it discusses the value of the leisure sport in terms of economy, society and philosophy. 　　Key words: humanistic sport, leisure sport, leisure 　　The economy and society develops as rapidly as CRH. With abundant material and spare time as well as various means, an increasing number of people turn to the leisure sport. Then in which way does the leisure sport attract the attention of the public with its unique charming? Regarding this question, an analysis is made on its value [1]. 　　1. Definition of Leisure and Leisure Sport 　　The idea of leisure in the west is originated from Aristotle whose theories, to some extent, lays solid theoretical basis for the growth of the leisure culture in the west. Jeffery Gobbi makes conclusion of these differences in his book, Leisure in Your Life, in which he raises that definitions of leisure given by different experts and scholars belong to the following four contexts: activity, time, state of mind and state of existence. In this thesis, the leisure is defined as a relaxing and joyful state both physically and psychologically by means of body and mental condition within certain range of time and space [2]. 　　In 1899, leisure study was born in the United States which has highly developed industry. As is pointed out by Thorstein Veblen in The Leisure Class, a large number of leisure means will appear to fit the highly developed society owing to the growth of the globalization and post-industrial economy in the west while the lei
