The Reform on Software Engineering Education using Experience Based Approach
Abstract. In this paper, we proposed an experience based approach for teaching university software engineering course in the universities. As mentioned before, the main weaknesses in teaching university software engineering course is lack of consideration of the engineering concept in the software development lifecycle and neglecting practical application of engineering principles and disciplines in a software product. Therefore, in this paper we illustrated how to use an experience based approach for teaching the software engineering course that can imply the application of engineering disciplines in the software products at different stages of software development process. However, in promotion to a comprehensive template, we can design more experiments for each stage and study on more engineering metrics through them to achieve a better insight about the engineering notion in university software engineering course.

1 INTRODUCTION
The software industry growth increased software engineering professionals need, therefore, the need for effective software engineering education plan. Therefore, many universities have a few course covers including software engineering concepts in their computer science and engineering course. However, many scholars think, one or two course was enough to [5], [7]. In addition, some scholars believe that the nature of software engineering education is different from computer science and engineering education [4]. As a result, special software engineering project in some university has established. Although there are various forms of teaching software engineering, their main purpose is to teach the basic knowledge of the relatively large software system development [3].
