In addition, a wealth of web based resources will be available to students in this rural area that would not be possible without the use of Internet access. The Lowndes County School District’s technology plan contains information on each school’s technology needs assessments, teaching and learning, educator proficiency, leadership and support, and environment and infrastructure. NEEDS ASSESSMENT To foster school improvement, the Lowndes County School District has invested significant time and monetary resources in assessing student needs. The needs assessment is a district-wide process.
