Judge Advisor Donald Davidson - Engineering Director, BAE Systems In his 14 years with BAE Systems, Don’s overseen the development and production of radio frequency countermeasure systems. Don holds a master’s degree in aeronautics and astronautics from Purdue University, a systems engineering graduate certificate from Johns Hopkins, and a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from Georgia Tech. He also serves as a mission pilot and Standards and Evaluation officer for the New Hampshire Wing of the Civil Air Patrol. He is a former airline pilot for Eastern and Gulfstream International. Judges Mark Carlson - Technical Lead, Asymmetric Electronic Warfare, BAE Systems Mark leads the BAE Systems research and development efforts in Autonomous Systems and directs BAE Systems’ integration work on the Army Research Laboratory’s Micro Autonomous Systems Technology program, focused on small scale robotic systems. Mark was named Engineer of the Year by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics New England Section for his work in precision guidance and control.?He has authored technical papers, holds numerous patents, and is the recipient of multiple awards for engineering excellence.
