英汉互译过程中翻译单位的有声思维实验研究Abstract: Through a TAPs experiment on 9 subjects whose translation level is different but continuous, we get the preliminary findings: (1) The translation unit of translators in use can be divided into several layers and is dynamic; (2) The higher the translator’s level of language and the more experiences they have, the larger the unit will be; (3) The unit of translation of the same translator in E-C translation is comparatively smaller than that in C-E translation.
