This article briefly introduces the functions and characteristics of ArcMap, Atlas. According to the characteristics of Shaoxing City, natural and human environment and the development of the social economy, I designed this atlas which are for the mess, in line with Atlas Shaoxing style of content structure and arrangement order. Describes the procedure of the relief map and traffic map of Shaoxing City in detail. Flexible use of map language in the design and development process. Using high-tech means, making full use of information resources, through multidisciplinary research, coordinate the use of a large number of fundamental geographic data and a wide range of professional studies.
