Secondly, I will tell one story in the Tales from Hans Andersen, I think it is very useful. The story’s subject is The Bat and the Weasels. A bat who fell upon the ground and was caught by a weasel pleaded to be spared his life. The Weasel refused, saying that he was the enemy of all birds by nature. The Bat assured him that he was not a bird, but a mouse, and thus was set free. Shortly afterwards the Bat again fell to the ground and was caught by another weasel. The Weasel said that he had a special hostility to mice. The Bat assured him that he was not a mouse, but a bat, and thus a second time he escaped. It was wise to turn circumstances to good account. After reading it, I learn many principles. If we fall across some dangerous instances, we must be calm and try our best to find means. If we are threatened by some bad people and don’t know what to do, the situation will be worse and worse. So what we should learn from the clever bat is he was not frightened by the weasels and he escaped at last, he cheated them and turned circumstances to good account. So when we fall across danger, we should play to the score.
