An ongoing series of activities designed to ensure that performance at all levels of the organization is optimized to achieve business results. A process which serves to link strategy with individual and group performance. A process which serves to develop critical talent and ensure the future success of the organization. It measures results achieved and competencies used. Performance Management Cycle Accessing the Database There are two ways to access your PMP: The first way to access your PMP: Open the PMP database in the Lotus Notes Client by clicking on a link furnished by your business unit HR Manager. Once you open the link, it will be added to your desktop. After clicking on this link, you will go directly to the Strategic Management System “SMS” Integrated AIM/PMP Application. Accessing the Database The second way to access your PMP 1. Open “Internet Explorer”. Go to the “My IR” homepage at Click on the “Career” link, and pull down “AIM/PMP” Application Suite”. 2. Click on “AIM/PMP” Integrated Application”. Select link to database:US Server, European Server, or Asia Pacific Server. 3. A box will appear requesting your intranet user name and password. Enter each into the appropriate field and click “OK”. You will go directly to the SMS Integrated AIM/PMP Application. 3. Accessing the Database Home Page After entering your user na
