Be able to know the content of “ Good to know”. Importance and difficulties: 1. Distinguish “these” and “those”. Teaching Preparation: 1. Word cards and VCD. 2. Four-line format. Designing for the blackboard: goose→geese What are these? What do you see in the picture? What are those? I see …… Steps: Step1. Warm –up 1. Greetings. 2. Sing a song “Mary has a little lamb”. 3. Slow motion. T: What are they? S: Are they sheep?/cats……? T: Yes, they are./ No, they aren’t. Step2.Presentation and Practise. 1. 1) T: Old MacDonald has a farm. Look! I have a farm, too. There are many animals on it. Look at my mouth carefully and guess what they are. T用口型提示cats, rabbits, pigs, ducks, dogs. 猜到的同学上来画并拼写出这个单词。 最后,T 用口型提示geese. T draws some geese and write down the word geese. T: Many goose are geese. 2) What are these/those? T puts some pictures on the blackboard before the class. T shows a picture: What are these?
