Step I.Lead-in
Ask some questions:1.Do you like watching TV or playing computer?
2.How much time do you spend watching TV or playing computer everyday?
3.What are your favourite kinds of TV programme?
Key words:Sports progamme,the news, TV Series,cartoons,game shows,films,musics progammes.
Step II.Pre-reading
Present the pictures and ask one querstion.What kind of lifestiles do you think the men in the pictures have?
Use the Key Words on page 7 to help you.
Key Words:boring,busy,dangerous,active,easy,exciting,free,interesting,peaceful,relaxing,stressful.
Step III.While-reading
1. Reading the two texts quickly and:
Underlining the TV progammes that Brian usually watches
Underlining the kinds of work Bob does every day.
2. Reading the two texts again and answering these questions.
