Fast reading and intensive reading so as to get the students to understand the text correctly. Teaching Aids 　　1. the multimedia 　　2. blackboard Teaching Procedures  Step 1 Greetings T: Hello, boys and girls. Ss: Good morning, Miss Li. T: Good morning! Sit down, please. Today we are going to read the text. First, read it quickly and answer the questions. Then read the text carefully to answer more questions and to know the text better.  Step 2 Fast Reading T: Read the text silently and quickly to get the general idea. After a while, I’ll ask you a few questions. Are you ready? (While the Ss are reading the passage, the teacher writes the questions on the Bb.) 1. Which teachers do the students like a lot? 2. Who is a very good teacher but is serious and strict? After about three minutes, the teacher checks the answers. Ask the Ss to read the questions and answer them. Answers: 1.
