Module 4 Music Period one (1)三维目标 A.Knowledge and skills 1) Get the students to learn and grasp the following important useful new words and expressions in the part: relative, interpet, combine, depress, ambition, regarding 2) Learn the language in this part and get the students to read the passage 3) To have a discussion about music and express their own opinions freely. B.Process and methods 1) Get students to know how to acknowlege the Chinese and western musicial instruments . 2) Read passage in several ways: An interview with Liu Fang. C. Emotion, attitude and values Learning the effect of a Chinese star on the world music. (2)教学重点 Let the students learn to read with strategies (3)教学难点 How to improve students skill of reading and master more vocabulary. (4)教学建议 Train students reading ability through reading the passage. 新课导入设计 Sample1 Firstly, ask the students “How many kinds of music do you know?” Then ask them to speak the general categories about music as follow: After this, continue to ask the students “Which kind of music do you like best? Why?” to encourage the students to express their opinions freely. And then, develop the Ss’ speaking ability by practicing saying the familiar topic as follows: Sample 2 Play a piece of tradition music of China, for example 《二泉映月》、《梁祝(片段)》,then talk about them: 1. T: Which kind of instrumnets do you think are play in the music? SS: … 2. T: What can you get from the music? SS: … Then talk about the instruments which are used in the pieces of music above: …… What other kinds of music instruments do you know?
