Learn the new words in the chant “fast、high、far”with the word cards and ppt.
2. learn the sentence: Can?you?…..??Yes, I can.
Teacher and students make dialogue according to the chant.? T:?A bird can fly. What can you do? I can read english book.? Student:?I can…… (Students say “I can ……” one by one. In order to rivew some old words,T show these verbs on ppt.)
Make phrases with these verbs to the new words “fast、high、far” by Ss.
3. T:?Can?you?run?? Indicate Ss to answen:?Yes, I can.
T:?Can?you?jump/drink/sleep?(write on the board) Ss learn to answer: Yes, I can.
4. (ppt2) learn “No, I can’t.”
T: Can you fly fast? Ss: No, I can’t.
5. Use the new words in the sentences:
T:?Can?you?run fast?? Ss: No, I can’t.
(After reading this sentence, T makes a PK “Who can run fast with your fingues?” between S1 and S2. Then, other Ss ask them “?Can?you?run fast??” , S1 and S2 answer the question according to their PK. During this time, T show the new word “winner” and to teach it.
6. Game in pairs
In order to practise the sentence, T makes Ss to have a PK with their fingues in pairs, then ask and answer: Can?you run fast??Yes, I can. I’m the
