Thorough resea rch on reaction mechanism and dynam ics o f low - pressu re m ethano l carbony lation w as done. A m echan ism m ode lw as se t up for reac to r of acetic ac id th rough ra tiona l predigestion and hypo thesis and m a ss - ene rgy conserv ation ca lcula tion. R ational p redige stion and hypo thesis he ightened the ve lo city o f m ode l - so lu ting m ax im um ly and me t the requirem ent of rea l- tim e dynam ic smi ula tion. The smi ulation result accorded w ith production p ractice w hen reaching the steady state and the dynam ic pro cess could pred ic t the chang ing trend. It could a lso smi u late the accident condition. The model cou ld be used not only for studying the dynam ic characteristic, the con tro lm e thod o f reactor, bu t also for deve loping who le flow em luator.
