Marine Stewardship Council Chain of Custody program Pre-audit checklist for single and multi-site companies (Version 1.0) About this checklist The Pre-audit checklist has been referenced in the Get Certified! Your guide to the MSC Chain of Custody certification process. Both are useful documents to help companies wishing to get certified, and understand the intended outcomes of all certification principles under the MSC Default Chain of Custody Standard. It allows you to determine how much of the MSC Standard your company currently meets, and where there may be gaps for you to make adjustments to your operations prior to the certification audit. Please check that your company meets the eligibility criteria for this version of the Standard first – this can be found in section E of the Standard itself, and in the Get Certified Guide. This checklist is to be used also where the company is handling ASC-certified products or any other certified products from schemes that utilise MSC Chain of Custody.
