Materials and Aids Permitted for the Examination Semester A 2013/14 Examinations Materials and aids permitted for each examination as specified by the respective Course Leaders as of 3 December 2013 are given below. Please note that this list may not cover all courses. Students should check with their teachers before the examinations. Students must only bring with them materials permitted by the Course Leaders to the examinations. It is the students responsibility to check with the teachers for such items prior to the examination. Or they may visit the Academic Regulations and Records Office website from 4 December 2013 for a list of materials and aids permitted for the Semester A 2013/14 examinations. Students have to put their personal belongings and any unauthorized materials inside a bag which can be closed properly and place it beside the aisles (in lecture theatre and classroom) / under their chairs (in Multi-purpose Hall and Multi-purpose Room). If they cannot put their belongings and materials properly inside their bags, invigilators can ask the students to take them to the front of the venue. If any unauthorized materials, including electronic devices such as mobile phones, pagers, iPods, tablets, PDAs, MP3 players, databank watches etc, are found on a student, the case will be reported to the Academic Regulations and Records Office. Disciplinary action will be taken against the student which may lead to a failed grade in the concerned course.
