English is increasingly important these days. The Chinese, especially most college students are convinced of the importance of English more than ever before. They have realized that if they are armed with great proficiency in English, they will undoubtedly be more professional and successful in their career. As English learning is becoming increasingly popular with the Chinese students, great importance has invariably been attached to the learning and teaching of English writing. (正文小四号,左右对齐,每段首行缩进4空格)

College English Curriculum Requirements (For Trial Implementation) (书名用斜体,主要实词的首字母需大写)issued in 2004 states that the objective of College English is the students “will be able to exchange information effectively through both spoken and written channels” (p.6).(页码标注放在括号内,句号需在右括号外)Thus the importance of English writing is self-evidence.
