And more that 14% of all motor vehicle deaths are due to teenagers behind the wheel. Because motor vehicle accidents are the number one cause of teenage deaths, there is a dire need to examine and re-examine various factors and causes of Teenage Driving deaths, as well as organize, develop, and present practical solutions to the problem of Teenage Driving. This report will critically and analytically address the topic of Teenage Driving and will present a Key valid operational definition of the problem while attempting to delimit the problems and solutions into categories. A specification in how widespread or significant the problem is, will be explained. This report shall also specify the Stakeholders involved, and what their concerns, interests, roles and responsibilities are. Political dimensions of this problem shall also be explored. In conducting this project, the 6-step policy analysis process as outlined by Patton and Sawicki, will be utilized: In addressing the complex issue of Teenage Driving, this paper shall introduce a background of information and questions related to the status quo, definition, significance and effects of the Teenage Driving problems, as well as compare, measure and select among established criteria used to judge a list of alternatives to the Teenage Driving problem. Finally, a plan of action and monitoring measures for Implementation of the preferred policy shall be recommended.
