This repercussion is due to the high level of complexity of supply chains and the inherent risks that exist at any link of supply chain. Various papers, with different focuses and approaches, have been published for a few years. This paper aimed to review a supplier selection under supply chain risk management (SCRM) literature. The collected papers will be analyzed and classified, first according to the problem of a supplier selection under SCRM characteristics. Second, the papers were classified according to the solution approach proposed. Therefore, we regrouped them into five categories: The first is relative to quantitative approaches while the second is oriented to regroup the qualitative approaches for a supplier selection based on supply chain risk management. The third group is interested in the hybrid approaches which blend between two or more different approaches. The fourth is about simulation approach and the last is about artificial intelligence. This paper restricted the systematic scope review on journal articles and conference papers from 2003 to 2014 (at the moment of writing these lines).
