* 形容词--- adjective 一. 形容词的一般用法： 1. a beautiful girl, a clever boy 2. The room is large. The cake is delicious. 3. He left the window open. We kept the classroom clean. 1. 形容词作定语通常放在被修饰的名词前。 2. 形容词作表语放在系动词之后。 3. 形容词作宾补放在宾语的后面。 二. 形容词的特殊用法： 1. I have something important to tell you. Is there anything interesting in the film? 2. two meters high five years old three feet deep 形容词修饰不定代词或表示量度的词或词组时，形容词后置。 三. 形容词的比较级及最高级：(规则变化） 1. tall long fast hard 2. fine large wide late 3. heavy easy early happy 4. hot big fat thin wet red 5. important difficult interesting ①一般情况词尾后加-er或-est. ②单音节词以-e结尾的形容词直接加–r或?–st. ③以辅音字母加y?结尾的形容词，把“y”变“i”，再加–er或-est.? ④重读闭音节词尾是一个辅音字母的，需双写该辅字母，再加-er或-est. ⑤一些双音节及多音节形容词前要加more和most. 不规则变化: good?/?well many/much? bad?/?ill?/?badly? little? far? good?/?well---better---best? many---more---most? bad?/?ill?/?badly?---worse---worst? little---less---least? far?---?farther?/?further?---?farther?/?furthest? 注意： 1. 有些形容词没有最高级。如: favourite, wooden, right, wrong. 2. 形容词的最高级前必须加the. 四. 特殊句型 句型一： ①as…as 和……一样 ②not?as/so…as? 不和……一样（在否定句中常用so?来代替as） 1. I’m?as?tall?as?you. 2. The book is as good as that one. 3. He is not as/so tall as his sister. 4. The book is not as/so good as that one. 1. Tom is taller than I. 2.
