3. Test you eyes. Read the words and sentences as quickly as
you can.

Task: Do you want to be a tour guide? Let’s be a tour guide!
Step3 Presentation
1. T: I am hungry. Where can I go? (Show Ss the picture.) I am going to the restaurant. Where is the restaurant? Now I’m here. What place is it? (crossing)
How can I get to the restaurant from here? Teach go straight. T do actions and repeat the phrase. Then ask the students to spell the phrases.
2. I want to buy some books. How can I get to the bookstore? Teach turn left.
T: Left, left, turn left.
Ss: Left, left, turn left.
3. Mike wants to send a letter. How can he get to the post office? Teach turn right.
T: Right, right, turn right.
Ss: Right, right, turn right.
(T shows another meaning of right is “对的”。)
4. Play a game “Simon says”. Ss should follow the instruction which includes the phrase Simon says. E.g: When T says: “Simon says, turn right.” Ss should turn right. When T says: “Turn right”. Ss shouldn’t turn right, or he/she will be eliminated.
Step4 Engagement
1. Mike wants to go to an Italian restaurant. How can he go there? Turn left or turn right? Let’s listen. Ss listen and then check the answer. Books open, Ss listen and repeat.
2. T shows Ss some pictures of attractions in Beijing. Ask Ss to name the tour attractions.
