And such reinforcement out of class encourages students’ efforts and stimulates their motivation. This paper mainly studies the functions and values of English corner based on the theory of second language acquisition such as input-output model, competence and performance by Chomsky and motivation. By analyzing the survey done in this paper, there are some issues to be noticed. Thus, suggestions are put forward.
