presentation ethnical discrimination

The discrimination towards some ethnical minority in China Today, I wan to share some of my opinion on this issue with you based on what I have saw and experienced. Whenever I talked of Xinjiang with someone, I got question like “it’s a dangerous place, isn’t it?” “There are many uproars ,right?” or “Are you guys living in clay?” Having lived in Urumqi since I was 9, I was stunned because it’s completely contrary to the fact. I spared no efforts to elaborate the true images of Xinjiang for it’s a really wonderful place in my heart. Xinjiang is a place of beauty and mystery. The mosque city Urumqi And a place of all delicacies They are warmhearted and assiduous toilers!!!! As I encountered more and more misunderstanding of Xinjiang, I wonder what indeed this resulted from. And soon I figured out it’s the people living there , the Uygur“维吾尔族” minority who give people the contorted impression that Xinjiang is a place of terror and danger. And the immediate cause that makes me feel anguished and think there exists the discrimination towards Uygur minority is the incidence what we called “切糕”. I am not denying the immoral behavior among some of those people. But when people on the Internet started to address them “切糕党” whenever they mean Uygur people. And they thus combined them with description like savage , uneducated , and uncivilized. I was angry and thought this was a kind of ethnical discrimination. I clearly remembered when I was still a child I had been told Uygur people were bad guys. Once I was running on my roller skates. I was about to trip over when someone’s arms supported me from behind . I turned around and found he was a Uygur people . I immediately shrink from his arms , turning a cold look to him because I thought he meant malice. When I grew up and retraced on this , I found myself actually involved in discrimination. I hope people can have rational opinion on the incident “切糕”.And don’t generalize them all a
