On Strategies to Improve College Students Spoken English
【Abstract】
One of the main goals we learn English is to communicate fluently in English with others. This article tries to analyze the current college students’ oral level and its reasons. The author also puts forward some suggestions on improving students’ spoken English, which includes motivating interest, mastering pronunciation rules, improving vocabulary level, acknowledging some Western culture, paraphrasing, and using English idioms.
