INTRODUCTION This report aims at the culture shock which means people’s feelings and behaviors when they move from one culture to another (Brick, 1991). According to the four stages of the culture shock (Brick, 1991), our group made a questionnaire about the situation of studying or living abroad and interviewed 45 students whom were selected at random in the William Building and the library of Middlesex University and not from the UK. In this report, the methodology is described and the results of the questionnaire are given. Then, we will analyze the data and explain our results by using theories from Brick (1991) and Boddy and Patton (1998). After the section of analysis and discussion, the conclusion of the research and the whole work of our group will be made. 2. METHODOLOGY Our team consist of three members. We used questionnaire to obtain information about culture shock. We constituted different kinds of questions. Firstly we started questionnaire with identifying people, which nationality they are and how old they are. And then we learned How long they have been in London and what their first impression of their destination was. If they express their first impression as excited, we learned what happened, effecting them badly. This question is related second stage of culture shock, depression stage. We focused on the problems and asked, what the most difficult problem they dealed. Until third stage, they must have felt culture shock a lot. In this point, we wanted to find out how they respond to the culture shock. After they lived certain time in new culture or new country, we examined whether pozitive situations arose
